We received a submission from two Zoroastrian teens from Houston, Mahtab and Neville! They made such a wonderful and thorough presentation on Zoroastrianism. Please go check out their video on the "Religions" page! 

Happy Orthodox Easter to all who celebrate! The week leading up to Easter is called Holy Week, and I went to church several times throughout Holy Week with my family to pray together. Last night at church, we all chanted "Christos Anesti" or "Christ Has Risen" when midnight rolled around, holding candles lit with the holy flame. I am so grateful that I got to celebrate Easter with everyone this year since last year we were all quarantined. God Bless!

I have received numerous submissions from several teens that I am so excited to share! These are the latest submissions that I have received and all of these teens worked really hard to put together these really informative presentations. Thank you so much to all of you!

I'm so thrilled to have received submissions from Gabriella on the Episcopal Church and two teens on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! Their hard work is much appreciated and they made very informative presentations. I highly suggest watching their videos on my religions page!

I'm so excited to have received a submission from Hannah on Catholicism today! She did a wonderful job explaining her religion, thank you so much for your hard work Hannah! As an Orthodox Christian, I did not know much about Catholicism so I'm really glad that I have been given the opportunity to learn more about it. As mentioned in my post from March 6th, I worked with teens of the Baha'i and Coptic Orthodox faiths to make cards for foster children at Lydia Home in Chicago. The cards look wonderful and I am so grateful for the teens' contributions. This morning, I met with the residential coordinator at Lydia Home to drop off the cards, and she was so excited to distribute them to the children. A huge thank you to the residential coordinator and to all who participated! I am sure the children are very happy to have received your words of encouragement.

Today I uploaded a presentation on Unitarian Universalism by Cam and a presentation on the Lutheran faith by Hannah. Cam and Hannah worked really hard and did a wonderful job explaining their religions! I encourage you all to check out their videos on the religions page. Great job, Cam and Hannah!

​I reached out to the Baha'i House of Worship of North America and St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church and worked with their teens to make "cards of compassion" for foster children at Lydia's Home in Chicago. I am really grateful for their participation, as all 37 kids at the foster home were able to receive a card. I know that the children at Lydia's Home will be so excited to receive these cards this week when I deliver them.

I am thrilled to have been invited by Imam Uddin of Islamic Foundation North to come to his mosque in April to make a presentation to the teenagers there about my website. I have passed that particular mosque on the road many times when I am on my way to church, and I've always wanted to visit it; I'm very glad that I finally have the opportunity to do so. I am looking forward to speaking with the teens there and getting them involved in www.ifteens.org.

February 13th: I am so excited about the recent submissions from the Baha'i and Coptic Orthodox teens! They did a terrific job creating their videos and I am really grateful that they were willing to help us learn about their faith. I'd like to thank Alejo from the Baha'i National Center and Maria from St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church for their outstanding contributions in helping to teach other teens about their faiths. February 10th: I had the wonderful opportunity of getting to attend an interview featuring Brother Ubayd Ullah Evans on "the African American experience in the Muslim Ummah" hosted by the Muslim Students Association at a local high school. The interview was very insightful, and I got to learn more about Islam and how to be a better ally to Muslims.
